SPAN 202: Intermediate Spanish

Monday-Friday

10:30-11:20am

This was my second college Spanish course. Though the class was larger than the one I was in last quarter, I was still able to practice my conversational Spanish in small group settings in addition to practicing and learning new grammar and writing techniques. This course solidified my desire to minor in Spanish and to hopefully study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country sometime in the near future.

CHEM 153: Accelerated General Chemistry

Monday-Friday

1:30-2:20pm

This was the final course in the Accelerated General Chemistry series at the University of Washington and it was very challenging. Though I had a lot of general chemistry knowledge from high school, this series dove deep into the concepts all while going at a rapid pace. Nevertheless, I made it through successfully and I am very excited to move on to Organic Chemistry next quarter.

BIOL 180: Introductory Biology

Monday-Friday

2:30-3:20

As an intended biology major, I knew that I was going to have to dive into the introductory biology sequence at the UW at some point or another. At the last minute, I decided to enroll in BIOL 180 after being unsatisfied with one of the courses I had originally signed up for. Though it took some time to get used to the structure and workload of this course, it ended up being my favorite class this quarter, for I loved getting to analyze relevant, raw data about fascinating topics such as endangered species and the effects of climate change.
